Petrin Hill is one of Prague's largest green areas and encompasses no less than eight parks. It is a pleasant place for walks and offers marvellous views of Prague. Petrin Tower is a 203ft copy of the Eiffel Tower on the summit of the hill, built for the 11891 Prague Exposition. >From the top of the Petrin Tower the unfolding vista encompasses the central Bohemian woodlands. Stefanik Observatory, just south of the cable-car terminus, provides enthusiasts brilliant views of the night sky.
